Integrations & API

Create polls from Teams and WhatsApp, automate with webhooks and API keys, and use the same API as the mobile apps.

Microsoft Teams & WhatsApp

  1. Admins open Team & settings → Integrations and connect Teams (Outgoing Webhook) or generate a WhatsApp link code.
  2. Members then message commands: poll Question? | A | B | C (add --multi or --hide-results), results, close, list, help.

Chat polls are link-only and anonymous. The connecting person’s role is re-checked on every command.

API keys

  1. Team & settings → API keys & webhooks → Create key. Choose Read results & export or Create & manage surveys.
  2. Copy the key (it starts with qz_). It’s shown only once.
  3. Send it as Authorization: Api-Key qz_…. The API reference is at https://api.quibzy.com/api/v1/docs.

A key acts as the member who created it, in this organisation only, and with at most analyst (read) or editor (write) rights. It can’t manage members, billing or keys. Revoke it at any time. Available on Starter and Pro.

Webhooks

Add an https endpoint and choose events: New response, Survey published, Survey closed. Each request is signed (X-Quibzy-Signature, HMAC-SHA256 with your secret). Verify it and reject requests older than 5 minutes. Send test sends a ping. Failed deliveries are retried for about two hours. Response events include answers (by question id) and answers_text (readable answers by question text).

Slack

  1. In Slack, add the Incoming Webhooks app to a channel and copy its URL.
  2. In Team & settings → API keys & webhooks, set Send to to A Slack channel, paste the URL, pick events and select Add webhook.

Messages name the survey and link to it in Quibzy. They never include answers, since a channel is usually wider than your team.

Zapier & Make

Create a Read results & export API key as an organisation admin and use it in the Quibzy connection in Zapier or Make. Turning a Zap or scenario on subscribes it to events (optionally for one survey only); turning it off unsubscribes it. Subscriptions show in the webhooks list with a Zapier or Make badge.

Developers can use the same REST hooks: POST /api/v1/hooks, DELETE /api/v1/hooks/<id>, GET /api/v1/hooks/sample and GET /api/v1/hooks/me with Authorization: Api-Key ….

Google & Microsoft sign-in

When enabled on your Quibzy installation, Continue with Google and Continue with Microsoft appear on the sign-in and sign-up pages. Mobile apps use the same flow with a registered app redirect.
